It Ends With Us

My favorite novel by Colleen Hoover as it reflects the complexity of love and abuse, making it awfully heart-breaking but also incredibly beautiful. The female protagonist is in a love triangle between two men in her life, one creating darkness while the other adds brightness. Like anything in life, relationships and people are complicated. Thus, "there is no such thing as bad people. We're all just people who sometimes do bad things" (It Ends with Us, pg 284). This quote demonstrates that nothing is black and white but an array of gray, making the cover's top and bottom gray. The center is a colorful flower to illustrate Lily's love blossoming and her passion for gardening, as it's a physical and emotional escape.
